- If you have been away from SCC for more than 15 months, you will need to reapply.
Workforce Continuing Education
If you need to train for a new job even faster, consider our Workforce Continuing Education classes. They begin throughout the semester, and some are offered during the evenings a few nights a week.
High School Students
If you are currently a high school student, learn about our Career & College Promise classes.
Boys & Girls Club
Sandhills is now the location of a Boys & Girls Club unit. The after-school club runs from 2:30 to 6:30 pm for kindergarten through fifth grade. Transportation from McDeeds Creek, Farm Life, and Carthage Elementary Schools is currently available. Participants receive homework assistance and dinner is provided. The cost is $50 per child per year.
In addition, drop-in services will be available free of charge to Sandhills students from 6–9 pm. This is ideal for students taking evening classes, working on group projects, or for other academic reasons. For more information or to register for the drop-in services, contact Princess Threadgill at pthreadgill@sandhillsbgc.org or (910) 695-3943.
